This sculpture series was created in 1995

These fellow travellers are the logical extension of “the lovely little faces“. The emphasis is always placed on the character’s personality. A body, arms and legs are added in a summary manner, but in order to convey a general attitude.

It’s a disillusioned vision of existence. Whether they are alone or in a couple, these human beings seem to be overwhelmed by what’s happening to them… In principle, we are all destined to travel alongside them for awhile.
